Uniting Vic.Tas is the community services organisation of the Uniting Church, providing vital services across Victoria and Tasmania. They support individuals and families in need of safe housing, mental health assistance, employment opportunities, and more. With over a century of experience, Uniting Vic.Tas is committed to inclusivity and diversity, welcoming all communities.

Uniting Vic.Tas faced the challenge of correcting their accreditation, which had been assigned to an incorrect category. To align with the Department of Employment and Workplace Relations (DEWR) requirements.

This correction was crucial not only for regulatory compliance but also for maintaining their reputation and ability to deliver services effectively.

AWD provided a comprehensive suite of compliance services to assist Uniting Vic.Tas in their accreditation achievement. We guided Uniting Vic.Tas through the process of evaluating their scope and context, ensuring they understood the requirements for the correct accreditation category. To prepare for the independent evaluation by the certification body, we facilitated a thorough self-assessment, helping them identify and address any compliance gaps.

Additionally, we helped them implement an Information Security Management System (ISMS) equipped with advanced vendor-grade tools, including SIEM, NOC, SOC, XDR, and Anti-Spam. This ensured robust security measures while also supporting their day-to-day IT activities.
