Fortiro is a software development company providing a SaaS solution to its enterprise customers called 'Protect', which helps businesses to automate document reviews and document fraud detection.
Fortiro’s ‘Protect’ solution is used by Banks, Lenders, Government Institutions, Insurance and Real Estate companies to process thousands of documents daily while checking them for fraud and performing verification checks that traditionally have been performed manually.

Fortiro serves large enterprise customers that have stringent security requirements. Compliance with the ISO 27001 information security standard enabled Fortiro to demonstrate its commitment to security and provide an independent assessment to show ‘Protect’ users that the highest cybersecurity standards were implemented. AWD implemented ISO 27001 information security standards for Fortiro’s internal IT systems in a short timeframe and with zero issues noted by the external audit.

AWD was able to implement ISO 27001 information security standards in a record 4-month timeframe for Fortiro’s internal IT processes, business processes and policies and procedures. Usually, this process can take between 6 – 12 months.
AWD delivered the overall project management, completed evidence gathering, a gap analysis audit, a plan, and a strategy to create and maintain records for consistent compliance within the internal IT systems.
The end-to-end ISO implementation was completed with no issues identified by the external auditor.
